
I began teaching yoga in 2001 after realizing what a positive effect a yoga practice can have on your life, physically, mentally, and spiritually.
After spending years as a “natural” competitive bodybuilder, and personal trainer I decided to try yoga, a far cry from the ‘pumping iron’ scene. While I still love and integrate weightlifting into my fitness routine it is no longer my main focus.
Over the years of teaching I have witnessed the wonderful benefits that yoga offers every individual, regardless of where that person is in life, physically or emotionally. It is with great humility that I am blessed to be able to continue sharing my passion of yoga with others.
I became certified after completing my year long teacher training with Forest House Yoga. Although I had already been teaching for many years the knowledge and introduction to Anusara Yoga has proven to be invaluable. I am a registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. I continue to share my yoga practice with others, teaching at several locations and opening my home for indoor/outdoor classes and private instruction.
